This policy explains which personal data are processed when you visit cristinapasanisi.it or contact the practice, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003. The Italian version of this policy prevails.

What data we process
Browsing data. Like any website, the servers hosting it automatically record some technical data: IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time. They are used only to run the website and protect it from abuse.
Data you give us when you contact us. If you call us, message us on WhatsApp or email us, we process your name, phone number or email address and the content of your message, in order to reply and, if you wish, book an appointment.
The website has no contact forms, does not collect health data and offers no accounts or online booking. Please do not send health information by message beyond what is strictly needed to book a first visit: we will discuss it in person.
Cookies and similar tools
The website uses no profiling cookies and no third-party cookies, and shows no advertising.
The only information stored in your browser is the language you chose (Italian or English), saved with localStorage only when you choose it or close the language notice. It is a technical tool, needed to provide the feature you asked for, so no consent is required. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.
Fonts are hosted on our own website: displaying them does not connect you to any external service.
Links to external services
The location maps are interactive maps. Only when a map appears on screen does the browser download map data from OpenFreeMap servers, which therefore receive the visitor’s IP address. The maps use no cookies and store nothing in the browser; until they load, a fixed image hosted on our own website is shown.
The website contains links to WhatsApp, Apple Maps, Google Maps and Waze. No data is sent to these services until you tap a link. When you use them, the privacy policies of their providers (Meta, Apple, Google) apply.
Why we process data (legal bases)
- Answering your requests and booking appointments: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Security and operation of the website: the controller’s legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Who can access the data
Data are processed by Cristina Pasanisi and, where necessary, by the practice’s colleagues, who are bound by confidentiality. The website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (United States), which processes browsing data on the controller’s behalf as a data processor. Data are never sold or disclosed to third parties for marketing.
Cloudflare and other providers may process data outside the European Union: in that case transfers rely on the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as European Commission adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep data
- Browsing data: for the technical time needed, according to the hosting provider’s settings.
- Messages and contact requests: for as long as needed to reply and manage any appointment, unless the law requires longer retention.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing, or receive it in a portable format (Arts. 15–22 GDPR), by writing to studiopasanisi@gmail.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
Changes
This policy may be updated, for example if new services are added to the website. The date of the last update is shown at the bottom of the page.
